Our mission is simple: empowering people to buy tech sustainably by offering folks a high-quality, accessible, and more eco-friendly alternative to buying new electronics. Why? Refurbished tech helps lower our collective environmental impact.
Be part of a great and growing adventure that will change the way the world consumes tech.
Within the BoT (Bureau of Technology) department, the Platform tribe plays a central role in designing and maintaining the core technical components of our infrastructure, providing tools, services, and key solutions to support the development of our products.
The Developer Experience (DevXP) team, a part of this tribe, is responsible for our internal developer experience journey within the platform.
As a Frontend Engineer within the DevXP team, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of frontend components that underlie our technological ecosystem. You will be able to work on all aspects of our technological stack while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Propose solutions to the different teams around the subjects of feature flags, Rollout Strategy, or AB testing

Integration and Collaboration

  • Participation and implementation of Frontend training in the development and release of engineering best practices
  • Implementation of inner-sourcing practices about DevPortal, allowing other teams to easily contribute to the project
  • Workshop animation and presentation during the Frontend Chapter

Maintenance and Improvement:

  • Propose and implement continuous improvements to optimize the existing functionalities of our tools
  • Support the maintenance and new feature development for Pastrami and Front-Apps projects
  • Maintenance and internal tools within DevXP such as DevPortal or DSE
  • Ensure that our technology stacks comply with the norms, standards, and best practices defined within BackMarket
  • Setting up forms to collect feedback and future needs

Performance, Security, Reliability

  • Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security issues in collaboration with the SRE team or Chapter Frontend
  • Optimize component performance and scalability to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience
  • Implement security practices to protect data and users
  • Contribute to the creation of a resilient and highly available infrastructure in partnership with the Infrastructure teams

Technological innovation

  • Explore and learn about new technologies and best practices to continually improve platform capabilities and performance
  • Anticipate internal technical developments via roadmap elements

What we are looking for

Bordeaux is never boring

Lots of adventure.
Plenty to explore.

Bordeaux offers great food and great quality of life. It’s famous for wines and cheeses. Join us here, and you can work off a bit of lunchtime brie by biking back to the office along a moon-shaped harbor. For weekend excitement, visit the Pyrenees mountains, surfer beaches, and fairytale castles.

Your kind of culture

We’re here to SABOTAGE!

SABOTAGE! is our mantra. It keeps us focused on what we aspire to be: a little bit sneaky, always smart, kinda frugal and constantly conspiring to create maximum impact.

SABOTAGE! will save us all.

Sticking to this mindset is what will save us from boredom, save us from the pitfalls of hypergrowth, and save us from becoming a “corporation” in the evil sense of the word.

SABOTAGE! is our constant call to action.

It’s a reminder not to rest on our laurels or credit cards. It points us to where we want to go but also tells us to stay true to who we are.

It’s all about neat problems

Our SABOTAGE! spirit is about ingenuity and the love of a challenge. So, you’ll find us inventing new word plays for one of our ads or live streaming the Rubik’s Cube World Cup on a lunch break.

We move faster than the rest with rewards and a feedback culture

During an impromptu football match or a yearly growth report meeting, we’re inspired by giveaways, shares, and a culture of collaboration.

United we stand. Divided we fail to get to net zero.

We’re global citizens. At our All-hands annual party you could hear French, German, or Japanese, but in the office we only speak one language—the language of climate action.
