Hello, I’m Camille and I’m Head of Sustainability at Back Market. I arrived in June 2020 to structure the approach of impact at the company. With the team, we have two missions: to take care of Back Market’s impact on the planet and society, and raise awareness about the impact of technology. Most people are unaware that the production of new devices has a large digital impact on the planet. Back Market is proud to have become a mission-driven company in February 2022 and to have reduced the impact of its offices worldwide. We also worked with the French Agency for Environmental Transition to prove that refurbishment is a solution to fight climate change. Back Market is unique because it is sustainable by design, with a purpose that is applied in day-to-day jobs. Every employee has contributed to avoiding nearly 500 tons of CO2 since the beginning of 2022. Back Market’s values are important to me.
